A: We have met with the Walt Disney Swan Resort and asked these same questions! The Walt Disney Swan has assured us that they follow the CDC guidelines, as well as State and Local regulations. A: Face coverings remain optional in outdoor areas for all Guests, regardless of vaccination status. All Guests ages 2 and up will be required to put on their face coverings as they enter indoor locations, enclosed transportation and attraction queues. Face coverings must remain on throughout attraction experiences.   

Cast Members and Vendors who are not fully vaccinated must continue to wear face coverings while outdoors. Face coverings remain optional outdoors for fully vaccinated Cast Members and Vendors.

A: Yes! Guests are permitted to remove their face coverings while seated at indoor dining locations, while actively eating and drinking.

• Hand sanitizer will be available in all meeting rooms, food and beverage areas and water stations.
• Chairs will be sanitized at the end of each day.

A: Partners in the United States who have earned their NSE 3 or above are welcome to register. If you have recently earned your NSE 3 (or higher) and are not able to register, please reach out to us.

A: The registration fee includes full access to the event, including meals (as noted on the Orlando agenda), the Welcome Reception, Closing Party, your choice of 1 or 2 Fast Track sessions and a Training Session of your choosing. All attendees will receive a NSE Training Voucher to be used to take a free exam after the event.

A: Fortinet is part of the (ISC)² CPE Submitter Program, a Continuing Professional Education credit program. Learners can now earn one credit for every hour of training they do with Fortinet. The credits go towards maintaining the individual’s CISSP credentials.

A: Orlando attendees should arrive on Monday, August 16. Be sure to arrive in time for the Welcome Reception, which will begin at 7:00 PM.

The conference will end by 2:00 PM on Friday, so plan your departures accordingly. Orlando attendees will find many convenient flights on Friday, August 20.

Participants are required to bring their own laptop device. Internet access will be required for participation in the hands-on labs and the Ultimate Fabric Challenge and will be provided at the event through WIFI access.

A: The Fortinet Ultimate Fabric Challenge (UFC) is a skills-based competition that consists of small teams competing against the clock and against other teams to complete several technical challenges presented to them in a “capture-the-flag" style competition.

The Fortinet Ultimate Fabric Challenge is the perfect opportunity for individuals who have invested time and effort to become skilled with Fortinet products to demonstrate their expertise to a wider audience.

The 3-hour competition will start with a discussion of rules and basic instructions. Participants are strongly encouraged to review the tutorial and preparation material that will be sent out to all XPERTS Summit registrants prior to arriving on-site. During the event, once the clock is started, teams will be presented with a realistic network scenario and a list of tasks they must complete and objectives to be met before the designated time expires. This is an “open world” gaming environment where teams are free to choose the order in which they complete tasks and the approach they use to meet the objectives.

Each team will be scored based on completing a series of tasks and objectives by answering questions completing configurations etc. These tasks and objectives will range from basic recall to more abstract problem solving. Bonus points can be awarded for the first team(s) to achieve each task or objective.

Top place teams will be acknowledged at each session with one of the prizes listed below. Top regional teams (NSE 4+) will be offered a place in the annual global competition.

When you register for XPERTS Summit you will be automatically registered for the Ultimate Fabric Challenge (UFC). No additional registration is required.

How do I get a team mate for the Ultimate Fabric Challenge (UFC)?

Upon registration for the XPERTS Summit, you will be asked if you would like to team up with a specific individual for the Ultimate Fabric Challenge (UFC). If you do not have someone to team with, summit organizers will pair you with a team mate before the event.

Are NSE 4+ and NSE 3s playing against each other in the Ultimate Fabric Challenge (UFC)?

No, NSE 4+ and NSE 3s are not playing against each other in the Ultimate Fabric Challenge (UFC). These two groups will be separated on two separate leaderboards to ensure a level playing field.
