Maciej holds the Master of Science in Telecommunications degree from Warsaw University of Technology, he has 18 years of experience in electric power sector and he works at Siemens as a Global Business Development Director for RUGGEDCOM communications portfolio. Prior to Siemens Ruggedcom, Maciej worked in Arteche and in GE. During his career Maciej worked in different positions including firmware development for protection relays and product marketing. He has been involved in the design and implementation of multiple communication protocols in the protection and control devices and has field experience as he commissioned network systems in high voltage substations. He also led the development team for Sensors and Optical Current Transformers for the next generation of digital substations and Process Bus. Maciej actively participated in CIGRE SC D2 and IEC TC57 technical committees.
