Nelson Paredes has been in the IT Industry for nearly 20 years; he joined Fortinet in August 2010 as a TAC Engineer. Nelson studied Programming & Networking and worked in different roles in technical support and networking including Nokia and Herjavec group. Since he joined Fortinet, he has worked in many different roles: Tech Support Engineer, Escalations Support Engineer, Technical Account Manager, and currently as a Global NSE Architect for the Training and Enablement Team. His collaboration with different TAC teams in Canada, USA and Mexico has helped him grow professionally and be able to share new ideas to grow as a team as well as to provide internal training during his role in Technical Support.
